Skype 2.7 for Mac Beta launched

Skype has just announced a beta release of Skype 2.7 version for Mac adding a host of cooling features in it.

Since the new version is in testing stage, there might be some bugs.

At a glance, the Skype 2.7 for Mac has the following new features:

1. Group Contacts

2. Apple Address Book contacts in Skype

3. Auto Redial

4. Easy sound-level controls

5. Overhauled file transfer

The Group contacts feature will allow you to organize contacts into as many as groups as needed. Further, the Apple Address Book contacts in Skype will enable them to call or SMS anyone who has a phone number in their address-book profile.

The Mac users should not complain that Skype is overlooking them. Skype may be blamed for its slow approach towards Mac in comparison to Windows. But it is not genuine to blame that Skype is not providing all the basic VoIP features that Mac users need. The VoIP giant is also taking all efforts to bring latest updates for Mac world.
